•NVL2 interacts with the spliceosome-associated protein CWF19L2. •CWF19L2 interacts with ILS, RNA-debranching factors, and MTR4-RNA exosome complex. •CWF19L2, CWF19L1, and DBR1 are required for lariat RNA debranching. •Super-resolution imaging reveals close colocalization of DBR1, CWF19L1, and CWF19L2.
